Dianne Gubin

Co-Director, C-Sweet & Principal, Capital InVentures, Inc. / President, Amplify Professional Services, Inc.

For Capital InVentures Dianne actively sources, networks and introduces institutional investors to CEOs and management teams seeking $5 to $100 mm in debt and/or equity financing. She expedites deal flow, reviews business plans, and is responsible for program management. She has strong relationships and a solid network of corporate and financial sponsors. Additionally, she provides senior management executive and staff placement services.

Concurrently, she is president of Amplify Professional Services Inc, an Executive Search and IT consulting firm. Amplify handles executive search, staffing and consulting services across industry sectors for Fortune 1000 and fast growth companies. Dianne produces C-Sweet, invitation only events for executive women, as well as Amplify Roundtables, networking events for peer professionals in technology and finance. She was the founding director of Women in Technology International, LA Chapter (WITI-LA).

Beth Hilbing

Beth Hilbing is a versatile, experienced, successful executive with extensive experience in managing infrastructure and global client services for the entertainment, insurance, aerospace, and banking industries. In her current role at Boeing Corporation, Beth focuses on innovative technologies in Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier Management, and Data Analytics to deliver agile, cost-competitive solutions so customers are able to reduce costs, drive efficiency and optimize operations (managing IT costs, budgets, and spend in excess of $85M). Beth is also a Senior Consultant with Strategic Alliance Consulting Division working in the area of client offerings and key engagements. Prior to Boeing, Beth was director of Global Collaboration Services at Northrop Grumman Corporation (NG), focused on engineering and operations to support collaboration technology spanning domestic and international operations for NG. Beth has managed teams of up to 500 people, budgets of $120M+ and has additional expertise in the following areas: Project/Product Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Vendor Management, Cloud, Mobile, Cyber Security, Global Client Service Structure and Support, Application Support, and Financial management. As a former Vice President for Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union, Beth was responsible for all design and implementation for Information Technology Systems and Program Solutions, including Enterprise Resource Planning programs, Internet security, and disaster recovery. With a strong ability to clearly articulate how complex technologies improve business operations, Beth is a highly sought-after speaker at executive forums and technical conferences. Her topics include organizational key strategy and leadership, collaboration technology, unified communications, cloud-based services, and mobility. Beth also held the role of Executive Sponsor with Microsoft at Northrop Grumman, executing the corporate relationship and enterprise and services agreements globally. Beth’s responsibilities for the global collaboration services organization spanned traditional voice and telephone solutions, collaboration technologies (search, wiki, document sharing, audio/video/Web conferencing, cyber security, messaging, cloud and mobile integration), email, client security, social tools. When it comes to implementing best business practices to streamline processes and add efficiency to corporate objectives, she continually surpassed corporate performance goals, including reducing overall operating costs by millions of dollars for NG, implementing key technologies to win core programs, and implementing shared services. Beth has deep knowledge in strategy and architecture, program management, managed services, infrastructure, software engineering, operations, and knowledge management. Beth’s education includes a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Webster University. Additionally, she is a certified Project Management Principal, Six Sigma Black Belt, holds a Top-Secret clearance, and has earned technical, leadership certifications. In addition to C-Sweet, she volunteers her time with the Society of Information Management, Women in Technology, Network of Technology Executives, and the Society of Women Engineers.

Sarah Fergusson Chambless focuses her practice on technology companies, specifically in the areas of startup company formation, early-stage finance, technology licensing and regulatory considerations, venture capital investment transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Sarah advises emerging companies in the digital media, technology, consumer products, social enterprise and nonprofit sectors in issues related to company formation, corporate compliance, and intellectual property licensing and transactions. Annie Burford is an Event Marketing Executive with over twelve years of experience producing innovative corporate meetings, events and conferences for fortune 500 companies. Annie has produced over 200+ programs in NYC, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco working for private event agencies, destination management companies, and most recently for a China based investment bank heading the CEC Capital Summit. The annual cross border tech Summit featured a carefully curated selection of the most disruptive and innovative startups, keynote speakers and panelists comprised of founder-CEO's and C-level executives across the Global Technology, Media Consumer and Healthcare landscape in Silicon Valley. Elicia Magaña

Elicia Magaña is an accomplished event manager who has spent eleven years in the events industry, overseeing strategy, planning, negotiations, budgeting, and logistics all across the country. She has handled budgets as high as $1 million, and she has put on more than 150 events to date. Thriving in high-pressure environments, she is someone whom others trust, turning to her when nothing but full reliability is acceptable. Her specialty is enhancing events, aiming for high-quality every time she is in charge. She has served high-end clientele throughout Los Angeles County, and the audiences at her events range in size from 20 to 10,000. By offering full-service event management, she empowers her clients to focus on whatever it is they do best and leave all the event details up to her.

From conferences to galas to fundraisers to community events, Elicia has taken charge of many high-profile, high-pressure events, including the 2018 Small Business Summit featuring Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. More recently, she started development work on the Los Angeles County Women's Leadership Conference, an event that is particularly close to her heart and into which she is throwing the full weight of her event production experience.

Elicia earned her Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of California, San Diego. Since 2016, she has owned and operated her own full-service event production company – KIMA – which has become known all across Los Angeles for reliability and innovation in the event industry.
