Susan Miner

Susan is one of the world’s foremost experts on executive liability and risk management, including Directors & Officers Liability Insurance. She has over 20 years of experience and has counseled clients of all sizes and complexity, from Fortune 50 corporations to start ups. Her clients span multiple industries – including high tech, life science, health care, retail and energy.
Susan joined Woodruff Sawyer in 2009 after 19 years at Carpenter Moore Insurance Services. In 2005, Susan engineered the sale of then privately-held Carpenter Moore to The NASDAQ Stock Market. When NASDAQ exited insurance in 2009, Susan negotiated the sale of Carpenter Moore’s West Coast business to Woodruff Sawyer.
Teresa Milano, Esq.

In her role, Teresa provides insurance solutions for high growth private, IPO, SPAC/De-SPAC, and mature public company clients. Teresa has extensive knowledge in the management and professional liability insurance arena.
Teresa has over a decade of experience in all areas of the management and professional liability, with a specialization in public D&O. Teresa brings significant knowledge of the claims and coverage landscape and has a strong background in advising on claims and legal trends, the litigation environment, and loss mitigation strategies.
In addition to working at several global insurance carriers and a multinational broker, Teresa has also provided management consulting services to a diverse client base.
She holds a business degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and earned her juris doctorate from Pace University School of Law.
