Nina Burleigh

Author and National Journalist, Executive Producer, Adjunct Faculty NYU   

Nina Burleigh is a a journalist, best-selling author of seven books, and documentary producer.


Nina was born and educated in the Midwest, has been based in Washington, D.C., New York, and Paris and Italy, traveled and reported extensively in the Middle East and has reported from almost every state in the Continental U.S. 

Her journalism has been published widely, including in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Airmail, Time, New York Magazine, Slate and Bustle, among others. Her books have been reviewed, excerpted and covered in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Nation, New York Magazine, BBC, ABC, MSNBC, Yahoo and other media outlets. Two of her magazine articles were made into dramatic productions and she was an executive producer on a documentary series about Ghislaine Maxwell and a Peacock documentary on Prince Andrew.

She has appeared on Good Morning America, Nightline, The Today Show, 48 Hours, MSNBC, CNN and C-Span, on NPR and is a guest on many podcasts.

An adjunct professor at NYU's Arthur J. Carter Journalism Institute, Google Scholar says her work has been cited in hundreds of scholarly articles.

Sandy Pelland is the CEO and founder of MomLifeTV – a Webby Award nominated digital media site. With a primary focus on video, MomLifeTV presents informative lifestyle entertainment to support a new generation of women on their amazing journey through motherhood.

Previously, an award-winning Creative Director in advertising and media, Sandy worked on global brands at such agencies as Grey/MediaCom, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Bozell Global Healthcare – overseeing creative and brand expression across all touchpoints and channels.

Sandy is a member of The Producers Guild of America and is an associate member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).

Denny Alfonso

Emmy-winning Journalist and Esp. Editor, Digiday

Emmy-winning journalist and Digital Senior Executive Producer with extensive experience in the news-making and documentary industry. Traveling to different countries as a correspondent, interviewing a wide range of people that include politicians, artists, athletes, and locals to find unique stories around the globe.

A well-known news personality in the Hispanic and the anglo markets, covering special assignments in the US and Latin America.

A specialized creative producer who curates content across all on-air, digital platforms, and podcasts designed for specific markets. Work done includes series and investigative reports on CNN, NBC News, Associated Press, Yahoo, Newsweek & ESPN.

Dana Kuznetzkoff

Producer & President, Fourth Agreement Entertainment

Dana Kuznetzkoff has been involved in creating, producing and developing projects in nearly every genre of entertainment. She produced or managed such diverse projects from HBO’s pilot episode BOARDWALK EMPIRE to their acclaimed series THE WIRE and NBC’s SMASH. With Doug Liman, she produced the first major scripted series designed specifically for 360-degree virtual reality, INVISIBLE. Most recently as the Head of Production for Disarming Films, Dana was a producer on the final episode of HBOs THE CASE AGAINST ADNAD SYED, directed by Amy Berg and THE UNTITLED JEFF BUCKLEY PROJECT.

The former Head of Media at Avex International, Dana made her Broadway debut as part of the producing teams for the Tony nominated JOHN LEGUIZAMO’S LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS and PRETTY WOMAN, THE MUSICAL.

Dana is a Collaborating Artist for the Roundabout Theatre’s Reverb Festival and is a member of the Producers Council of the Producers Guild of America, NY Women in Film and Television and the Directors Guild of America. She is on the advisory boards of the Writers Guild of America East Made in New York Writers Room and The Hollywood International Film Academy in Beijing, China.

Deidre Smalls-Landau

Laura Mignott

Global Chief Experiential Officer, VMLY&R Commerce.

Laura Mignott is an award-winning storyteller, network weaver, global showrunner, and mountain mover known in her industry and beyond for her knack for bringing talented people together. She is the Global Chief Experiential Officer at VMLY&R Commerce. Previously for 10 years, she was the CEO of DFlash , a New York-based cultural communications agency. They design online & offline experiences that are curated to energize brands to make meaningful and lasting impact. “The Oprah that you know,” as Laura has been called, is the creator/host of the award winning Reset Podcast , in which she interviews game-changers in the world of business.

In order to share practical networking skills she’s honed over the years, Laura is also the creator of the online course One Degree of Connection , where she helps people to discover their passions and their “X factor.” She is the 2020 WiM Storyteller of the year & 2021 AdClub Rockstar award winner. She sits on multiple boards and leadership committees, including the Project N95 and Black Women Talk Tech.
