Dana Weintraub
CEO at BAWSI - Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative
Dr. Dana Weintraub, CEO Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) & 2024 NCJSHOF Inductee.
Dr. Weintraub is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Dr. Weintraub received an A.B. in History from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and her M.D. from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital & Research Center at Oakland and a post-doctoral fellowship in General Pediatrics at Stanford University.
Dr. Weintraub has extensive experience both playing and coaching soccer and developing after school programs. Throughout her four years playing Varsity Soccer for Dartmouth College, including two-time All-Ivy League Team honors, Dr. Weintraub coached local youths in league play and summer camps.
