Sherine is a Managing Director with Kroll, based in the Los Angeles office. Sherine is a fraud and financial investigations expert with more than 15 years of experience leading investigations into complex financial crimes and public corruption while at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She graduated from the University of California, San Diego magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in History, was valedictorian of her FBI Academy class at Quantico, and is a fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Finance Leaders Fellowship.
Prior to joining Kroll, Sherine spent over 10 years at the FBI as a Special Agent where she successfully investigated and helped prosecute several high-profile cases involving complex financial crime: such as, money laundering, corporate fraud, financial institution fraud, investment fraud, securities fraud, public corruption, and asset forfeiture. Sherine has also testified several times in U.S Federal Court.
At Kroll, Sherine provides expert consulting and witness services in matters involving financial crime, corruption, and corporate misconduct, as well as proactive fraud risk assessments and global asset recovery. She has advised multinational corporations and publicly traded companies in high-stakes disputes, proxy contests, and shareholder matters, and has led complex internal investigations worldwide.

Shreya Gupta
Machine Learning Solutions Architect at Nvidia

Shreya Gupta is a Solutions Architect in Machine Learning at Nvidia. Previously, she was a founding machine learning engineer at Lamini AI, where she developed a software stack enabling enterprise customers to create and host their custom production-ready LLMs.
She completed her Master's degree from Stanford University in the Symbolic Systems program in the summer of 2023, where she collaborated with Prof. Fei-Fei Li on decoding EEG-brain signals for robotic manipulation. Additionally, she worked with Prof. Justin Gardner to design deep learning algorithms for modeling areas of the Visual Temporal Cortex using the fMRI NSD Dataset. She also interned at Google Translate, where she focused on scaling laws for neural-based evaluation metrics for machine translation models.
Shreya is passionate about research in theoretical and applied deep learning and natural language processing (NLP). She was an NSF-funded RIPS Scholar at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics at UCLA, where she worked with Google, LA on devising privacy protection frameworks.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Shreya is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM. She is a Lead at Women Who Code Delhi and founded the community MLNerdie x Delhi to bridge the gap between academia and industry in machine learning. For her initiatives, she was awarded the Google Women Techmakers Scholarship in 2019.
