This presentation provides a clear-eyed assessment of today’s permitting realities, emerging risks, environmental mitigation and best practices for keeping projects moving from concept to construction.

Meet the Speaker
Natalie McCue
Vice President, Environmental & Permitting at Pattern Energy Group
Possessing a broad knowledge of public policy and environmental law, Natalie works closely with local, state and federal government agencies to help facilitate the permitting of renewable energy development projects across North America. She has had prominent success in completing projects within the toughest permitting regimes across North America, helping to bring over 3000 MW of renewable projects online in her 24 years of experience.
Natalie works closely consulting with governmental agencies, including Bureau of Land Management, US Army Corp of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, US. Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Defense, State Environmental Agencies and local officials to assess and mitigate any environmental impacts on wind projects to secure all necessary permits prior to construction and financing.
Natalie participates with the American Wind Energy Associated (AWEA) Siting Committee,) the Renewable Energy Wildlife Institute (REWI) and has served as co-chair for the AWEA Wind Project Siting and Environmental Compliance Conference.
Natalie currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Houston.
