Holding Two Truths at Once: The Emotional Complexity of Growth
Growth is rarely clean or linear—it often brings conflicting emotions that feel difficult to reconcile. You can feel grateful and exhausted, confident and uncertain, fulfilled and ready for more—all at the same time. This session introduces the concept of psychological flexibility and helps participants move away from rigid “either/or” thinking into a more adaptive, grounded way of navigating change.

Dr. Bonnie Wims
Counseling Psychologist, Founder & CEO, Wims and Associates
Dr. Bonnie Wims was professionally trained as a Counseling Psychologist in London, England. While abroad, she founded her private practice, Wims & Associates, and began working with individuals and couples. It was at this point that she clarified her mission to work with individuals who held limited belief in themselves and their potential to live a fulfilled life. In addition to working with clients one-on-one, Dr. Wims has designed workshops and courses on identity and self. Now based in NYC, she continues online work with clients from around the world.
