Meet the Panelists
Kendel Martin, CPA
Chairman of the Board at Amplify Credit Union
Kendel Martin is a senior financial executive with over 28 years of experience assisting public and privately held life science, financial service and technology companies grow their businesses worldwide. Kendel’s career exhibits her expertise in SEC reporting, the design of internal control structures, technical accounting, implementation of new accounting standards and executing M&A transactions in domestic and global markets. She also brings deep corporate governance experience through her work with several boards, including audit and finance committees and is qualified to serve on audit committees as a financial expert. Kendel has a passion for helping companies build their teams and in-house capabilities to end dependency on external firms.
Kendel recently retired as Vice President, Accounting, of Luminex Corporation, an international biotechnology and manufacturing company and large accelerated filer operating inside and outside the U.S. While at Luminex, Kendel transformed the finance, accounting and tax organizations through strategic assessments comparing the use of external or internal resources, bringing tax and due diligence work in-house and handling all SEC filings internally. Kendel transitioned from sole contributor to hiring and leading a 48-person team as Luminex’s revenue grew 5x during her tenure. She is currently consulting with new public companies on SEC reporting and technical accounting.
Carol Eastman

Carol Eastman is a visionary CEO, entrepreneur, and technology leader with a strong track record of helping organizations navigate transformation with confidence. As CEO of ReadyAI.dev, she is leading the mission to make internal AI adoption secure, compliant, and approachable for enterprises. Throughout her career, Carol has built and successfully exited two technology companies to a Global System Integrator, led global partnerships, and helped executive teams turn innovation into meaningful business results.
Carol has also served as a board member of Karma Tequila for more than a decade and is active in the aviation community, where she supports and encourages women to pursue their passion for flying. As a private pilot, Carol brings the focus, confidence, and calm decision-making of aviation into the way she leads and inspires others.
Stefanie Cavanaugh
Board Member and CFO at Giving Home Healthcare
Stefanie Cavanaugh has more than 25 years of experience as a financial executive, working in both public and private equity-sponsored, growth-oriented healthcare products and services organizations.
Stefanie recently completed two years of public company board service with Aspira Women’s Health (NASDAQ: AWH), serving as an audit committee member and chairing the compensation committee. She qualifies as an audit committee financial expert, providing extensive knowledge in public company reporting and investor relations requirements. She offers expertise and advice for capital market transactions, having led numerous equity and debt financings in both public and private entities.
Stefanie guides businesses scaling through high-growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, and offers a unique perspective at the intersection of next-generation direct patient care and transformative product development.
Stefanie presently serves as CFO for Giving Home Health Care, having completed the $470 million acquisition of the company in August 2022 with private equity sponsorship. The strategic vision for Giving is to expand its current Southwest region program—providing home health services to former DOE employees—into a national provider program.

Trisha Stacey is the Director of Indirect Sourcing, Technology and Corporate Services at Sysco Corporation, where she leads a global team across England, Costa Rica, and the United States.
With a candid and approachable style, Trisha describes her role as doing “what no one else wants to do”—reading contracts. While procurement is often seen as a function that slows things down, she focuses on letting results speak for themselves rather than challenging perceptions directly.
Trisha is committed to treating stakeholders as customers, ensuring that every interaction with her team is a positive and value-driven experience. Her goal extends beyond transactional support—she is focused on delivering strategic impact and redefining how procurement is perceived within organizations.
With over 20 years of experience in technology and services procurement, Trisha brings a strong work ethic and the ability to effectively communicate with both business leaders and technology executives.
